Canvassing opinion on photos or canvas images
No comments · Posted by Kerry in Canvas Photo Printing
We all have at least one photo album in our home and the question to ask ourselves is how often are they taken from the bookcase and looked at? Canvas printing not only brings a bare wall or room to life but also can be a constant reminder of loved ones or good times past.
Once upon a time, a photo was taken, it was developed in a specialist shop into a 4” x 6” photograph and either left in a photography wallet or stuffed into a photo album never to be seen again. With the digital age comes the opportunity to print photographs for your photo album, but also use a canvas printing company you make a feature out of a particular photograph.
With canvas printing it is possible to send a digital photograph, have it edited to show no signs of blemishes or ‘red eye’ and then printed on the high quality canvas using ‘up to the date’ Epsom printing technology.
In these ‘credit crunch’ times a simple photograph with an inexpensive frame may be the answer, but with canvas printing becoming more popular, the canvas print market becomes more competitive and therefore canvas printing suddenly becomes more cost effective than maybe 3-4 years ago. This makes it possible for households with the tightest budget to have both photo albums to look through when that first boyfriend or girlfriend calls round, and a striking image on the wall for anyone to stand and admire.

When you have the perfect picture, whether it’s of your friends, your family, your favourite pet or your girlfriend, you’ll want to make sure you present it the best way possible. There are many ways you could do that, including securing it safely in your wallet, framing it and having displayed on your wall, or placing it securely in an album.
However, if you have the perfect picture, you want to make sure it has the perfect treatment. Printing your picture on paper isn’t the best way to treat it because pictures on paper can fade over time, losing colour and quality. Your perfect picture won’t remain perfect forever.
A much better way is to print the photo on canvas, as canvas is a much better material for printing photographs. Photos printed on canvas last much longer than regular paper printed pictures without fading, plus they look much better when they are displayed on the wall. The canvas texture makes the printed photo look like a painting, and it entices viewers to want to touch it and sample the texture.
Have the perfect picture? Print it on canvas and keep it forever.

Make better use of your holiday photographs
No comments · Posted by Kerry in Canvas Photo Printing
Everyone has photos from their holidays around the home, but what do you do with them? Most people keep them in dusty albums hidden away in drawers, or in wardrobes under piles of clothes. They only get the holiday snaps out when a chance comment about the holiday sparks a desire to see the pictures, or a friend comes round and asks about your holiday.
Some people have their holiday photos framed and displayed on the walls of their home, pride of place for all to see. However by doing this you’re just framing your photos in the same way that everyone else does. There’s nothing exciting or different about them, plus pictures printed on photo paper can fade with age, just as the memories of the holiday fade with them.
A far better way to present your holiday photos is to have them printed on canvas and displayed on your wall, much like canvas art. Canvas doesn’t fade the same as paper, so your canvas prints stay vibrant for longer when compared to conventional photos. Photos to canvas also look much more impressive when displayed on your wall as they are larger, brighter and more eye-catching.
Isn’t it better to have canvas prints displayed on your wall instead of having them stored in albums and hidden from view?

Photo to Artwork – Printing on Canvas
No comments · Posted by Kerry in Canvas Photo Printing
Some people seem to have everything and finding a gift for them on birthdays and at Christmas is a real problem. When such a person is special to you, the one to whom you really want to demonstrate your love and commitment, the problem becomes a nightmare. Something both unique and personal is required.
An original artwork might fit the bill, but how many of us have that sort of money? A work we have produced ourselves would be truly personal, but how many of have that sort of talent?
In fact, thanks to modern technology, it is possible to produce truly original pictures on canvas without breaking the bank. We all have cherished photos of significant moments of family life, or revealing snapshots of loved ones caught unawares. With the canvas printing technique, these precious images can be enlarged, reproduced on stretched canvas and framed to produce a genuinely unique or truly personal work of art.
Some might say that printing a photo onto canvas is not art, but any serious photographer will tell you that selecting and framing a significant piece of reality for reproduction is a definition of the artistic process.
This is not to mention of course the creative possibilities of digital editing software. Even if we have no talent with brushes and oils, our favourite photos can be printed on canvas and turned into truly original works to adorn our walls.

As the credit crunch takes hold many people are finding it difficult to make ends meet with Christmas approaching. Indeed the high street has just reported it’s worth month for years as consumers are wary of spending before Christmas.
However Christmas doesn’t have to be expensive, nor does it have to be impersonal to the extent that the usual presents have to be sent. Rather than buying DVDs, CDs and Video Games for Christmas, why not buy something much more personal, that will last much longer, and is fairly cheap in comparison to most electrical items found on the high street?
Why not give a canvas print of a favourite photograph as a gift this Christmas? Pictures of your family or your children make for excellent, highly personalised gifts that grand parents are sure to enjoy. When you have a photo printed on canvas you’re creating original artwork out of your memories that will last much longer than photos printed on paper and framed. Canvas is a durable material that lasts for years, and looks like genuine art.
When you give a photo printed on canvas you’re giving something that will be treasured for a lifetime.
