FAQs - Quality

What quality of canvas do you use?

Our canvas is made from a tight weave 380gsm cotton and is coated with a bright white, acid free, matt emulsion. The result is a non-cracking uniform surface that gives excellent results for all photographic images and oil reproductions. Your canvas prints are guaranteed to be fade free for a minimum of 75 years.

What kind of frames do you use?

Our cotton canvas prints are hand stretched onto heavy duty 50mm wide by 38mm deep pine wood stretcher bars (from sustainable sources), giving your artwork real presence and durability. All frames come ready to hang and come complete with corner wedges - in case you need to tighten your canvas over time.

Does my canvas / perspex / artwork come ready to hang?

Yes, we include a picture hanger on the back of your canvas (just put a nail or screw in the wall to hang your canvas on) or the necessary attachments for your perspex or snap frame.

What kind of inks do you use?

We only use archival inks, partnered with the latest Epson wide format printers with Ultrachrome technology - giving you archival, fade-free prints that will last up to 75 years without any deterioration in colour or vividness.

Will my prints fade over time?

We only print on acid free media with archival inks that have been tested to outlast traditional prints from your high street lab - with a 75 year fade free estimated lifespan.
